Welcome

... to the online portfolio of Freelance Photographer Rick "Tricky" Harrison.

I'm based aroung Leeds & Wakefield in West Yorkshire (in the United Kingdom), and unlike many photographers I don't quite have a speciality or focus - I started out originally as a Landscape photographer (which has lead to an almost obsessive compultion about composition) - it's still a great love, but I've found I can quite happily turn my hand to all kinds of photography - for example on a Freelance basis i tend to be contracted for more portrait/marketing images.

I won the 2009 National Trust / Sunday Times photography competition (with the picture of the hiker to the left), and my work has been licenced for use in tv adverts (welcome to yorkshire), magazines (including several front covers), books and by various regional tourism/development agencies.

Along with licencing images as stock, I've also produced comissioned work for a number of well known businesses and agencies for marketing and promotion.

I'm still working on the site.... sorry it's a little limited at the moment - theres a lot more to come, but for the moment most of my photography is found on flickr.com
